The new 2023 Toyota Crown is here

The all-new Toyota Crown is a premium sedan with performance hybrid power, capable of delivering an intuitive driving experience. This new vehicle brings powerful accelerations and confident handling for those who desire high levels of comfort while on their way to work or relaxing on weekends, all paired with exceptional styling, advanced efficiency, and the latest technology.

With three different grades to choose from, the 2023 Toyota Crown will offer two distinct hybrid powertrains. Available on the Platinum model is the new and powerful HYBRID MAX powertrain with 340 net horsepower while the XLE and Limited models offer a fourth generation Hybrid System (THS) that pairs a 2.5-litre four-cylinder with an electric powertrain.

The new Toyota Crown will feature Advanced all-wheel drive systems across its lineup. The XLE and Limited models feature the E-Four AWD system which in normal conditions sends 100% of the available torque to the front wheels. However, the rear motor can power the rear axle using 80% of the available torque in difficult conditions. The E-Four Advanced AWD system which is paired with the HYBRID MAX on the Platinum grade is consistently sending power to both axles, sending 70% of the available torque to the front in normal conditions, but it can also send up to 80% of the available torque to the rear wheels as needed.

The Toyota Crown sedan will be both powerful and fuel efficient. The most powerful hybrid engine averages just 8.4 liters per 100 kilometres, while the THS engine averages just 6.2 litres per 100 kilometres. The 2023 Toyota Crown pairs efficiency and performance like no other hybrid vehicle can.
