The second available powertrain is a hybrid version that features a 2.5L 4-cylinder paired with a team of electric motors that power the front wheels. You can opt for an AWD Hybrid, which means you then get a third electric motor to help power all four wheels. Total power output on the 2020 Toyota Highlander Hybrid is 240 ponies.
